Connect to a Wio Tracker, initialize the Meshtastic client session, and view live position reports. Initialization sends configuration/heartbeat commands over Bluetooth, but does not transmit LoRa messages or change radio settings. New live packet positions are saved as separate radio trails on this device; other GPS tracks stay unchanged.
Assign each radio to its rider. Names and individual breadcrumb trails stay on this device. Stored node positions are not recorded as fresh breadcrumb points.
Ready. Use Chrome on Android over HTTPS and disconnect the official Meshtastic app first.
A fresh node database may contain last-known positions, which are not necessarily live. The receiver distinguishes a stored node position from a new mesh packet. Positions received in new LoRa packets are drawn as temporary radio markers on the GPS map. Node database locations are only shown as stored last-known data. New live packets are saved as separate radio tracks; stored node positions are not.
